Educational Philosophy

The philosophy of Hand in Hand Learning Center is based on a set of strongly held beliefs.  I believe each child is a unique individual.  I am sensitive to the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs  My aim is to provide a safe, enriching environment with warm loving care.  I provide a comprehensive and coordinated daily schedule of activities designed to enhance your child's intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and emotional development.  DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE activities are planned that will enable the child to gain a positive self-concept and sense of independence.  Specific curriculum areas include development of large and small muscles, creative art experiences, language arts experiences, including vocabulary building, listening, and speaking activities; and other science/math related experiences, and social awareness.  Learn, play and nutrition periods are scheduled for the classroom.
